Made a series of painting of the surrounding landscape of my studio, day trips on the east side of lake Mjøsa. Partly plein air works, as I started outdoors and finished the painting in the studio. used 30 x 40 cm canvases and used oil paint. When moving back to Hamar I became aware of that if I wanted to continue painting these landscapes I had to re invent my practice when every day was able to wake up to a new sky, new colors and changing seasons.
